Club Purpose and Mission

The primary purpose of the Club is to promote and provide an environment for shag dancing for all area residents and visitors to our beautiful island of Hilton Head.

We have members from all areas and we try to provide a friendly social atmosphere while sharing and educating members about shag dancing.

The shag dance is the state dance of South Carolina. We have a long heritage of beach music and Shag dancing. Our goal is to educate and teach others the art of shag dancing and provide our members and guests with dance opportunities.
